Rasta Hattt!

So this is the Pattern for my rasta hat!
I took the idea from Sue B. Balcom's Way Too Colorful Hat

The Pattern is pretty close but I found some mistakes and ended it differently!

Rasta Hat

Materials:
Size H Crochet Hook
Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Yarn Colors: Kelly Green, Scarlet, Black and Mustard
Scissors

Abbreviations
Ch = Chain
ST = Stitch
DC = Double Crochet
FPtc = Front Post tripple crochet Here is a youtube vid of an old lady showing you how to do this one!

Pattern
RND:1 Ch 3 and insert hook into first chain and DC 8 ......TOTAL: 9

RND:2 Ch 3, DC in same ST *2 DC in each ST* ...........TOTAL: 18 (beginning Ch 3 counts for total)

RND:3 Ch3, DC in next ST FPtc in DC directly below next ST *DC in next 2 ST FPtc in DC directly below ST* ......TOTAL: 27

Hint: For now crochet behind the FPtc, you will DC in each ST.

RND:4 Ch 3, DC in next ST, 2 DC in next St *DC in next 2 ST, 2 DC in next ST* ......TOTAL: 36

RND:5 Ch 3, DC in each ST ......TOTAL: 36

RND:6 Ch 3, Same as RND:3TOTAL: 64

RND:7 Ch 3,
